In this bittersweet portrait of a vanishing rural way of life, Londoner Dalia returns to the stunning Italian region of Piedmont to care for her aging grandfather Igor, an expert truffle forager. Armed with his loyal dog Birba, she hunts for a prizewinning truffle to save his home.

TRIFOLE stars the now 90-year-old Umberto Orsini (La Dolce Vita, Visconti’s The Damned & Ludwig), a Piedmont local, alongside talented newcomer and the film’s writer Ydalie Turk, together with Margherita Buy, one of the leading Italian actresses of our time.
