Donnie Darko and Leon: The Professional

DOUBLE FEATURE! Star-making cult classics ahead of their time.

Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a disturbed adolescent from a dysfunctional, upper-middle class family. Gifted with a vivid imagination, Donnie is also a bit strange. Increasingly delusional and aided by a human-sized rabbit that only he can see, Donnie embarks on an crazed series of actions that horrify his teachers, scare his parents and amaze his friends. Not an immediate hit upon release, DONNIE DARKO's enduring legacy has cemented it as one of the great cult sci-fi films of the generation. Featuring a relatively unknown cast at the time, including Maggie Gylenhaal and Seth Rogen, the film served as breakout roles for both Jake Gyllenhaal and Jena Malone.

LEON: THE PROFESSIONAL is the film that broke then 12 year Natalie Portman into Hollywood. Portman stars as Mathlida, who after her father, step-mother, step-sister and little brother are killed, exacts revenge on the people responsible by enlisting the help of a professional hitman (Jean reno) she is staying with. Starring Gary Oldman as the iconic villain Norman Stansfield, LEON: THE PROFESSIONAL is a fast-paced, crime thriller and a must see on the big screen.
