Polite Society

The debut feature from Nida Manzoor (We Are Lady Parts), POLITE SOCIETY, is a delightfully unhinged British comedy mish-mashed with gamified action sequences, cheeky dialogue, and charming characterisation, featuring an impeccable ensemble cast.
Priya Kansara gives a breakout performance as younger sister/stuntwoman-in-training Ria, who is convinced her lost older sister Lena (an incredibly compelling Ritu Arya, The Umbrella Academy, Barbie) is in danger from her impending marriage. With the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull-off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.
"Blending a heightened sense of reality with martial-arts moves and heist movie tropes, Polite Society... is a joyful romp all its own." - VOX
"From the first blow to the last, Polite Society is a charm offensive that simply doesn’t let up." - SLANT MAGAZINE
