The directorial debut of one of the world’s foremost choreographers, Benjamin Millepied's re-imagining of Georges Bizet's CARMEN is an experimental dreamscape featuring original songs and a score by Nicholas Britell (Moonlight). Starring Melissa Barrera (In The Heights) and Academy Award nominee Paul Mescal (Aftersun), this gritty contemporary drama follows the young and fiercely independent Carmen (Barrera) who is forced to flee her home. Surviving a dangerous border crossing into the US, she is saved by Aidan (Mescal). Forced to go the run to evade capture, they journey to Los Angeles to seek out Carmen's godmother - the mercurial Masilda (Rossy de Palma).
