Titanic

Perhaps the most romantic film of all time, from director James Cameron comes TITANIC, a tale of fated love, and one fated boat trip. The R.M.S Titanic departs on her maiden voyage in 1912, the most luxurious liner ever and the “ship of dreams” – and then, hitting an iceberg, sinking and leading over 1500 people to perish in the icy waters of the North Atlantic. Using historical aspects as well as fictional embellishments, Cameron’s film follows Rose (Kate Winslet) and Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) as two people from different social classes who fall in love on the sea. With footage shot inside the actual wreck of the Titanic itself and an iconic score (if you don’t get emotional when you hear that pan-flute solo then what’s wrong with you), TITANIC is an epic tearjerker that will live on (beyond another 84 years.)
