Bros

Billy Eichner writes and stars in BROS, a hilarious and critically acclaimed new romantic comedy that was a sensation at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Bobby (Eichner) is a successful author and commitment-phobic podcaster in his forties who is about to open New York’s first LGBTIQ+ museum of history. Surrounded by friends who are all in various forms of relationships, Bobby is forced to consider whether he deliberately pushes away people who are interested in him. Usually dismissive of shirtless gym bros, hunky Aaron (Luke Macfarlane) upends his expectations and ignites in him a flicker of romance. Having both previously chosen a life without commitment, Bobby and Aaron decide to explore the alternative.

Produced by Judd Apatow, directed and co-written by Nicholas Stoller.

“It’s big and clever in a way that so few films of this scale are these days.” – Guardian, “A comedy classic, but deeply subversive too.” – NOW Toronto, “An instant classic rom-com that’s up there with the best in the genre, while delivering something fresh, contemporary, and very queer.” – Queer Review, “BROS leans into the giddy little revolution of its own existence, inviting the audience into a good, gay time that hasn’t exactly happened, in this way, before.” – Vanity Fair.
