A love-letter to the movies in the tradition of Cinema Paradiso, young Samay (Bhavin Rabari) becomes transfixed by what he sees upon his family’s first visit to the cinema. Unable to pay for his own tickets, a projectionist lets him secretly watch movies for free in exchange for the delicious meals Samay’s mother prepares her son. Gradually learning the secrets behind celluloid and understanding the interplay of light and colour, Samay enlists his friends to help recreate the magic of what he sees on the big screen.
