Gore Street, Fitzroy

MEET THE FILMMAKER: Sunday May 17, 1.15pm. Join filmmaker Zoe Coldham and a panel of guests for a post film discussion.

Award-winning filmmaker Zoe Coldham’s documentary GORE STREET, FITZROY traces the history of Fitzroy’s storied residential street, located within Melbourne’s oldest suburb. Through a series of interviews with longstanding residents, Coldham, who grew up on Gore Street, paints a picture of the street she called home while reflecting on a community which has been transformed by waves of gentrification.

Please note: documentary GORE STREET, FITZROY is a short film with a 25 minute duration. The screening will be followed by a hosted panel discussion about the making of the film and Fitzroy's remarkable history.
