Moulin Rouge!

Returning to the cinema screen almost twenty years after it became a musical favourite, Baz Luhrmann's MOULIN ROUGE is a stunning high-wire act of performance, production and music that rewrote the musical rulebook for the 21st century.

The year is 1899, and Christian (Ewan McGregor) has come to Paris to follow the Bohemian revolution taking hold of the city. And nowhere is more alive than at the MOULIN ROUGE - a night club where the rich and poor alike come to be entertained. When Christian starts a love affair with the star courtesan of the club, Satine (Nicole Kidman), the couple must avoid the club's #1 patron, the Duke (Richard Roxburgh), who covets Satine for himself.
