Eraserhead + Lost Highway Double Feature

Come along for a surreally, really good double feature!
Written, produced, edited and directed by David Lynch, the filmmaker's debut feature, ERASERHEAD, grew to become a sensation following its release in 1977. Thought to be a reaction to his fear of becoming a father, Lynch directs Jack Nance as Henry Spencer - a man trying to survive within an industrial environment while dealing with an angry girlfriend and the screams of his newly born mutant child. Initial audience indifference evolved into 'Midnight Movie' curiosity before becoming an international cult favourite.
David Lynch’s 1997 surrealist neo-noir psychological thriller horror, LOST HIGHWAY, stars Bill Pullman, Patricia Arquette, Balthazar Getty, and Robert Blake. A musician (Pullman) begins receiving mysterious VHS tapes of him and his wife (Arquette) in their home. Suddenly convicted of murder, the musician inexplicably disappears and is replaced by a young mechanic (Getty) leading a completely different life. Described by the filmmaker as a "psychogenic fugue" rather than a conventionally logical story, it has since attracted a considerable cult audience – many of whom consider the film an underappreciated masterpiece.
