Dissident, The

Directed and produced by Academy Award winner Bryan Fogel, THE DISSIDENT is the gripping story of a brazen murder and the subsequent global cover-up. Washington Post journalist and Saudi Arabian citizen Jamal Khashoggi disappeared in Istanbul in 2018 after visiting the Saudi Arabian consulate to pick up some paperwork related to his planned marriage. Vanishing once inside and leaving his fiancee and friends to try and piece together what had happened to him, what they uncovered was a shocking and brutal cover-up attempt.

A somber and shocking revelation of the lengths that the world's most wealthy and powerful individuals are capable of, Fogel’s doco exposes a labyrinth of evil and deception at the highest levels.
