Blade Runner: Final Cut + Dune (1984)

Iconic science fiction from the early 80s

THE BLADE RUNNER: The Final Cut is the only version of the seminal sci-fi thriller in which Ridley Scott retained artistic control of the release. In the smog-choked dystopian Los Angeles of 2019, blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is called out of retirement to terminate a quartet of replicants who have escaped to Earth in search of their creator, looking for a way to extend their short life spans.

DUNE (1984) is David Lynch’s biggest budget to date, and his first time working with Kyle MacLachlan; a relationship that would become one of Hollywood’s richest collaborations. Paul Atreides (MacLachlan), a duke's son, leads an army of the indigenous population called the Fremen on the desert planet of Arrakis as they get ready to defend their land from the evil Harkonnens.
